Couples Therapy

Couples therapy is helpful for many relationship issues where both members of the relationship are interested in participating in therapy. Couples therapy provides a safe space and a collaborative approach to all sort of problems that can arise in a relationship, for example:

Couples therapy focuses on identifying patterns and environmental factors creating barriers within a relationship. Then the focus becomes generating tools to support healthier communication and interaction to create trust, support and connection. 

Evidence-based couples therapy interventions include Emotion-Focused Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, Imago Relationship Therapy, and Interpersonal Psychotherapy.
