Binge-Eating Disorder (BED):

Binge-Eating Disorder is characterized by binge eating without purging behavior. Other features of BED include lack of control over eating and significant distress and/or guilt following overeating.

Bulimia Nervosa:

Bulimia is characterized by binging (excessive intake of food within a short period of time) and purging. Purging may occur through vomiting, excessive exercise, laxative use or other means.
